The main feature of Ornellaia 2006 is undoubtedly its exuberance. Wine concentrated, powerful and intensity
immediately perceptible. Rich aromas, tannins, with good acidity and with all components fully
balanced between them. The final expression is of great elegance.
The wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc 85% and 15%. Average yield per hectare of grapes q.li 45-50 equal to 30-35 hectoliters of wine. Cordon pruning. Planting of 3,500 vines per hectare. for installations prior to 1980 and 4500-5000 vines / ha. subsequent ones.
